In a ‘Doge eat Doge’ Cryptoworld, only the strong can survive.
It seems that Shibecoin didn’t end up being the big Doge that it originally made itself out to be.
After a number of missteps since the official launch on May 3rd, the ANN thread has been locked down, pending a ReBrand.
Here is a random sampling of comments made just prior to the thread lock:
Fonzerrellie says, “Your stupidest move was calling the coin Shibe and telling people to dump doge on irc. I think dev regrets it too. Brings a lot of fud to you and might explain attacks.”
ShibeCoinSucks added, “SHIBECOIN DEVELOPER LOQ HAS ABANDONED SHIBECOIN, LOQ AND HIS CRONY PUMP AND DUMP PALS ARE DUMPING ALL THEIR SHIBE COIN ON THE MARKETS. LOQ HIMSELF HAS ADMITTED THE COIN IS A FARCE AND IS TOTAL GARBAGE. THIS STORY WAS REPORTED JUST 15 mins ago by renowned alt coins expert JOHNNY COINZ. SHIBECOIN PRICE WILL SLOWLY FALL, OH WAIT IT’S BARELY WORTH ANYTHING? ALSO JOHNNY COINZ HAD REPORTED THAT THE SHIBECOIN WALLET IS INFECTED WITH MALWARE AND PHISHING SOFTWARE. SORRY, SHIBES BUT THIS COIN IS A BUST. DON’T WORRY, DEVELOPER LOQ WILL SOON BE DEVELOPING ANOTHER CRAP COIN FOR YOU TO BUY.
And the last few comments in the now locked thread:
iram3130 somberly states, “Just wait and watch but its bad time for Shibecoin.”
Followed by lament from deadley who responds, “I also bought so many Shibecoins and hoping it wont go down more or I will be in loss.”
And the final post before the lockdown comes from ‘Loq’ the dev. He ends with, “this thread is now officially locked and will be reopened very soon with a new rebrand. join irc for any questions - the devteam is about to change and working on the coin. thank you all for the love and fud, WE ARE NOT DEAD.”
